People yearn for how the internet felt 15-20 years ago — a wilder place where you could meet kindred spirits

Farcaster is the closest thing I’ve found to that experience now and I suspect that’s why so many of us are compelled to be here

met so many people on forums/aol early on.  only talked to them online, but considered them friends bc you talked almost every day on subjects you both were interested in 

still hits me when i think of some of them passing away and their loved ones posting something about it when you didn't hear from them for days/weeks was the only closure you got

Tech exec, board member, and advisor to startups and investment groups.  
Builds things.
