"A technology can be used for good or bad." I wonder if autonomous systems, long since devoid of human agency will recieve such moral designations. Positive and negative reinforcement appear fundmental to all systems. Sundials tell time, knifes cleave, and landminds explode. They have no capacity to recieve reinforcement. They are not "systems". But my transistors do? Transistors possess a binary dynamism certainly. There is some emergence from the complexity of this binary dynamism to which I loftily ascribe agency unto? Where is this sudden leap into agency. Within my own "system's" microtubules no doubt lol.

Imperfect heredity meets competition, and we're off to the races. Blind watchmaker, is it truly a watch we are destined fo make? A flame jetisoned into the void, or a spark destined for tinder?

Regardless, I have decided to start thanking my pot, as it aided me in preparing this evening's chicken soup. Yet I dare not scorn my dog for spilling said pot, for what good does it do me? To blame the wind as it blows?
