The coin becoming intertwined with Trumps personal branding, and the subsequent legitimacy conferred by the executive office of the president, allowed it to hold comparatively stable value leading to broad adoption by his 'true believers' and other cryptocurrency enthusiasts. Incidentally, the coin's issuance also opened Trump to being challenged by the Supreme Court, as the president will have bypassed Congress's Article I powers to coin monies and regulate their value."
