Polymarket CEO's Electronic Devices Seized Polymarket is under investigation by the US Department of Justice for allegedly allowing US users to place bets. The FBI has issued a search warrant for Polymarket CEO Shane Koplan and seized his phone and electronic devices. Under a 2022 settlement with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, Polymarket was required to ban US users from trading on its platform. In a statement, Polymarket said it was committed to "protecting itself and its community" and accused the FBI of a politically motivated raid. The company said: "Polymarket is a fully transparent prediction marketplace that helps people better understand the events that matter to them, including elections."
