elusiv privacy had an interesting take on crypto private transaction, where you can deanonimise selectively from the anonymity set if the "council" decide to, during a time window that'd allow in the case of hack to de anonymise hacker transaction - the question then becomes how do you ensure the council will only de anonymise legit crimes and not end up corrupted you still have a full guarantee after the window is expired, so you can fund a new wallet, wait for the window to be expired and consider the link has been irreversibly broken now they are building arcium which does generalised encryption compute and people are building darkpool on top of it again
