Today I walked into an apple store and it struck me how vicious marketing can get. When iphone notch came out, its was worse than competition. Yet because of that it was unique as all others phones tried to have the smallest hole punch. Undifferentiated. Today you see notch & dyn island side by side and the notch feels so old, a voice in the back of your head tells you to buy the new version, seems more modern. Yet between one or two generation these phones specs barely improves, not noticeable by most users. I stood there wondering if the guys who designed it had planned it all along, years ahead. I'd bet yes, doesn't take much foresight, rather it takes some evil. Most likely the dynamic island will come to the macbook next. Whatever it takes to milk the consumer

If you launch at higher price than you're worth, over the long term price discovery will happen and all of your early supporters will be down, meaning you miss on the early community winning vibe. You have more cash, but you're probably overspending instead of bootstrapping which pre market fit is terrible
