I believe there’s a common misconception about the importance of who first mentions an idea or concept on the internet. What truly matters is who can take a concept, make it work effectively, and achieve success with it. Additionally, by the time you hear it on something like a podcast, it’s likely that someone within our community has already discussed it months, if not years earlier, in private conversations. Hearing it on a podcast simply means you’re catching up to a discussion that’s already been ongoing. 🤷🏻♀️

I’d love to have more of this mentality around me and not have the impression and feeling that people is sharing any idea as if this comes from a unique, personal well of wisdom. We are plastic beings who are nourished by the environment in which we move. Sometimes, more or less consciously, we process constructs from more than one source. When we hear something here or there, we only recognize what was previously being processed and shaped within each of us. We don’t always need to attribute ideas and concepts, especially if we do nothing with them. Within the Farcaster community, some minds are circulating around the same ideas. Sometimes, it’s impossible not to recognize patterns that each of us might have considered. Being aware of this should be enough to understand the importance of having an idea and making something out of it. Well, a rather long comment to say that I think you made a very good point.😅
