3.  Gobsmacked, I insisted that he find the paperwork so as to not draw more blood than necessary. In about 15 minutes, he found the paperwork and only drew the 2 necessary vials of blood. These incidents at a renowned integrated healthcare system that ranks among the top hospitals nationwide make my blood boil.

2. The phlebotomist, brought out 5 empty blood vials. I did enough research before coming to my appointment to know that I only need 2. When I questioned why 5, the phlebotomist said he COULD NOT FIND THE ORDER PAPERWORK and was planning on drawing 5 different vials to be SAFE.
