What you see before you is 47.6 grams of protein in cookie form. Each soft, chewy peanut butter cookie packs about 4 grams of protein with just ~0.8 g of net carbs - and a hint of black sesame and cardamom for depth and balance. Black sesame is rich in healthy fats, fiber, and minerals like calcium and magnesium - great for skin, bones; and inflammation support Cardamom adds more than cozy flavor - it’s traditionally used to aid digestion and reduce bloating Today’s a test batch day, so I’m experimenting with baking times, ingredient ratios, and finishing touches… a light sprinkle of smoked maldon sea salt and one 100% dark cacao chips for some cookies. 100% cacao means 0 sugar and max antioxidants - good for the heart, brain, and soul (especially with the salt hit) High-protein. Low sugar. Big flavor!

Notes: this oven is strong, I need to take these out earlier at the 12-13 min mark. Bottoms are slightly over baked likely due to the sugar replacer used and this did contribute to some dryness. Not a strong enough hint of black sesame or cardamom, need to increase for the next batch. Regardless, I’m excited to recipe taste crumbling some cookies with the best fro yo (also high protein 0 sugar). All in all not bad for the first small batch but I will not stop until the recipe is perfected.
