U.S. President Donald Trump Establishes Strategic Bitcoin Reserve
Today, on March 7, 2025, U.S. President Donald Trump signed an executive order to create a strategic Bitcoin reserve, marking a significant step towards integrating cryptocurrencies into the country's financial system. The reserve will be composed of approximately 200,000 Bitcoin, seized from various legal cases, along with additional purchases at no cost to taxpayers.
This move has sparked mixed reactions: while many support the initiative, others believe the government's Bitcoin acquisitions could be more aggressive. The Age of Starknet on Bitcoin
Changes in the road map of the project. Starknet will be (x.com/Starknet/sta...) the first L2 blockchain that will work on both Bitcoin and Ethereum, uniting the two largest ecosystems.
By the beginning of 2026, Starknet will be fully decentralized, which means that no one will be able to censor Starknet transactions. In other words, Starknet will move to Stage 2 and become L2's handshake in the eyes of Vytalyk Buterin, who has renounced all L2 below the Stage 1 level (now Starknet is there).
Also, StarkWare, the main contributor to Starknet, is creating strategic reserves of BTC and ETH and will continue to accumulate them over time. It would be better for them to accumulate their shield, of course, and not to drink at every opportunity 0 reply
