Fidelity Files with SEC to Register a Tokenized Version of Its Fund Fidelity, one of the leading crypto ETF operators, has applied to the SEC to register a tokenized version of its US money market fund, the Fidelity Treasury Digital Fund (FYHXX). Launched last year, the fund holds dollars and US Treasury securities. It is based on the Ethereum blockchain technology, which is used to store information about stock ownership. However, other public networks may be used in the future. Fidelity also uses a traditional transfer agent to maintain official records. The authors of the application propose recognizing the product as valid from May 30, but the regulator has not yet approved the application. According to CoinGecko, the RWA sector has become one of the most successful areas of the crypto industry in 2024, showing an average return of 820%. The Age of Starknet on Bitcoin Changes in the road map of the project.
