life is more like soccer than any other sport a bunch of mostly inconsequential action in the hopes of generating opportunities punctuated but a few critical moments where an opportunity is capitalized on

I always say it’s more like surfing but sports (all of them) are good representations of life. Very important imo for kids to play sports AND to work in the service industry for a while.
