reflecting on OPs round - funding builders works because if [product] is successful, blockspace demand grows. w nouns, our product requires a visual component to close the feedback loop and have any chance at economic sense. all leading me to think that media is the 80/20 of it all.

note that funding builders makes sense because it is indeed the first half of the loop. but it feels to me that only a subset of makers (and their outputs) can convincingly close the loop at all.

eg agora was funded by nouns but their outputs are way better suited for the op feedback loop (demand for blockspace) than they are for nouns (demand for a meme / status). otoh, a viral piece of high quality content is much better suited to drive tangible demand for nouns (via a mint or auction).
