one side of me: skeptical that the underlying tech gives way to apps of almost identical modalities other side: KISS, the rails makes for a 10x better (and thus wholly diff) experience

The arrows should point up instead of right. I think at scale with legos iterated on it will be laughable to compare X to Warpcast with its infeed apps.

On the UX side, it stems from the fact that the design patterns we have now have existed for so long... Founders no longer need to spend money researching or designing things in an exploratory way because years of data back these ones. Tho I do hope to see unique changes like I've seen on Threads transition into warpcaster.

Big difference I see is 2/4 are owned by billionaires. Zora and Warpcast don’t really have habituated users yet. Don’t get me wrong, as a user I am a maxi of both services. But don’t see a path to profitability yet for either.
