reflecting on OPs round - funding builders works because if [product] is successful, blockspace demand grows. w nouns, our product requires a visual component to close the feedback loop and have any chance at economic sense. all leading me to think that media is the 80/20 of it all.

Earlier I was thinking, maybe the visual component is not necessary. The OP round proliferated Optimism meme and the visual meme was secondary, it was the act of funding that was the meme itself. Low conviction on the idea but was something I was thinking about

eg agora was funded by nouns but their outputs are way better suited for the op feedback loop (demand for blockspace) than they are for nouns (demand for a meme / status). otoh, a viral piece of high quality content is much better suited to drive tangible demand for nouns (via a mint or auction).

my broader point here is that the things op and nouns fund are the similar but our feedback loops to make economic sense are diff. see cast re agora below.
