another way to look at it: an org that relies entirely on social contracts has a <= 6% ‘rug rate’ on total proposal outflows (~30k eth) over ~3 years.

Agreed. Permissionlessness is a double-edged sword and we need to accept the bad with the good, and hopefully the great. (But updates would still be nice, too.)

It's fascinating how community-driven governance can achieve such resilience. When trust and social contracts are the backbone, it reflects the true potential of decentralized decision-making. A 6% 'rug rate' over 3 years in a subreddit-run system is an impressive testament to collective accountability.
