x accounts can generate millions of likes but farc accounts will be move millions in value. viewing farcaster as a twitter clone is akin to thinking of cars as faster horses, they are fundamentally different.

when you compare Farcaster to Twitter, you must compare it to old Twitter — not new Twitter. even old Twitter and new Twitter are fundamentally different.

old tw was driven by ad-based revenue, only true new feature they shipped was spaces, and that was only due to clubhouse. new tw is subscription revenue, job listings (cc @accountless.eth), short form and long form text AND video (with timestamp capabilities!), and we don’t even know what’s on the roadmap.

new Twitter is absolutely bursting with low quality users/bots masquerading as quality sources of information with the only goal being to farm the Twitter payments to creators system as much as possible
