The worst crypto onboarding event of all time. $TRUMP

Always fun to revisit these things. I thought it was going to be short term positive and long term negative. Feels like the opposite is true. Short term it killed the market and made financial nihilism the thing. Long term, the ‘cultural’ deregulating of coins allowing for more experimentation and likely net new mechanisms.

i was wrong on two dimensions:
- how much of a game of hot potatoe all non-btc coins are (sparse liquidity)
- how fast we can go from meta to meta, regardless of the meta. ie chillguy or financial nihilism, “that too shall pass”
