I drew this last year as a reminder of how my digital experience felt, versus what I sought. So much info flies our way on a daily basis. I for one don’t feel great in how it adds up. Sources, amount, curation, quality, are the keywords. Will try to clarify it and hopefully make steps in achieving it in 2025.

Interesting explanation on how we express ourselves via "stances." The point about our tension being a "prediction" reminds me of those times when nerves betray you and you end up making a mistake, leading to that "I knew I would do that" feeling. This take makes me think the effect can also work in the reverse, i.e. a sense of mastery or "nailing it." My favorite ballpoint pen is the Sailor Time Tide. Lighter than it looks, but appropriately sturdy. Doesn't tire out the hand. Lasts years.

Yes he mourned me for a little bit but then immediately saw the benefit of having a “ghost dad” in spectator mode to scope out caves. Looks like I’ll be stuck floating around for a while.

wife and kids are out for the weekend. Washed all the woolly socks, fixed the kitchen sink drainage, printed out some NFTs to put up around the house, and watched the film The Menu. Perfect Sunday.

wife and kids are out for the weekend. The TV is MINE. Watched Alien: Romulus. This may be the first film where I felt Hollywood has truly run out of ideas. Like watching all the previous ones at the same time. Hm.
