Enjoying the Creative Act: A Way of Being by Rick Ruben. Alway had a hard time articulating digital scarcity to others, but this passage on artists’ intention is a great way to think about it. There is only one intention, and this may be manifested in many ways, but it is either a true expression or it is not.

There are some works that are very clearly intended as digital 1/1s, and some are clearly editions. The underlying intention calls for one or another. A way to express differing kinds of energy?
