Another user lost funds by copying an incorrect deposit address from the transaction history. The scammer created an address with the same first 4 characters as the correct deposit address and sent 0.000001 SOL to the victim, as a result of which the fake address appeared in the transaction history. The user saw that the first 4 characters were the same, copied the address from the transaction history without double-checking. As a result, he transferred 7 million PYTH ($3.08 million) to the fraudsters.
