phantom is a good product but i've never been blown away by it

i've also only ever used it to swap and bridge in-app. i've arguably had a higher transaction failure rate on phantom (solana) than any other wallet

when all a wallet has to do is swap and transfer without leaving the app the bar is pretty low

also not open source, which sucks from a security pov

Phantom is decent for basic functionality, but lack of impressiveness and higher failure rate is a downside. Security concerns due to closed source
