If the 2m long object casts 3m long shadow, then the 4m long shadow will cast 6m long shadow. We add this to 6m shadow cast by the red object, we get 12m shadow length total. Object length to shadow proportion from the green object is 2/3. If we apply this to red object, we get: object_length/12 = 2/3. Result is 8
