I have 2 kids. My son is 14, my daughter is 11. Being a good parent, I endeavored to raise children that were gamers. What "gateway" games did you use to integrate them into playing? I leaned heavily on cooperative games when they were younger (Forbidden Desert, Pandemic) and moved on to others. What about you?

We also started with some co-op games like Cauldron Quest and Outfoxed. For competitive games: Catan, Sagrada, Azul, Sleeping Queens

Oh yeah! I forgot Outfoxed. I think my mind actively purged it. πŸ˜† I played that one A LOT with my daughter. I think that and Hoot Owl Hoot were the earliest "entry" games for her (both cooperative). Sleeping Queens (although not cooperative) was another!
