I’m realizing the solution to scarcity is actually to give more, not close off and try to hoard what I have. Scarcity is a feeling and I conquer it by realizing the truth of abundance. I already have more than I need. It’s described in Proverbs 11:24-25: “One person gives freely, yet gains even more; another withholds unduly, but comes to poverty. feeling scarce is to close off. This is divisive and sends us further into the depth of scarcity. The solution is giving. Our natural instinct in the case of someone wronging us is to wrong them back. This is also divisive and sends us into a loop of evil. The solution is to do good back to them. It’s counterintuitive. I’m just starting to learn and grasp this. Everything that is from God is good. God would never call us to do things that are divisive.
