I’ve always thought it sounds weird to say “ex-Company” instead of something else “Ex” feels angry that just me?

I don't see it as aggressive as it's mostly used to bolster one's own credentials. Whereas in dating labeling an ex doesn't say anything about your present/future but more so your past, and doesn't always end amicably.
