For the past week I’ve noticed a surge in tipping with warps… by seemingly new accounts that aren’t even following!

My hypothesis: bots that tip trending casts in hopes of being noticed and making a return via moxie, if even fishing for a like.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Tipping warps is underrated

- Fixed price ($0.01) & self-determined "allowance"
- No cast action or reply needed
- Adds positive, public signal to other viewers of cast
- Distinct notification ("super like")

Most people "tip" with replies because
- it's not coming out of their pocket; it's from a (marketing) allocation for a token to gain attention
- use it or lose it mechanics that create urgency (and drive action)
- the price of the token is purely speculative

Tipping with Warps is the opposite of all of these and (imo) has the best UX bar none because when receiving it feels the most intentional and honest.

Getting tipped in 4-5 digit degen still feels good because it's perceivably "valuable" as long as the price of degen holds until claiming day.

Getting tipped in other tokens I don't follow feels like a cheap flyer being dropped on my cast that others may see. I don't even know how to claim these tips and I can't be bothered to check unless the price somehow skyrockets (it won't)
