Question for my easily distracted kin: how smart are your watches?

I sport a $10 Casio watch that does exactly as little as I need it to. Imagining an Apple Watch feels like a nightmare for me but maybe useful for others?

I have an Apple Watch and find the constraints with nearly all notifications disabled is actually quite helpful. I’m really almost never distracted by it and can dictate things into it for reminders, etc.

I'm borderline militant about disabling notifications on my iPhone, for some reason I couldn't see myself doing the same on the Apple Watch. Might be some weird generalization I made one day about people always being distracted by them.

But I'm slowly coming around the idea that it could be useful for other things!
