why is my @ afrochicks??? 2 years ago i created an nft collection called afrochicks cos i wanted a pfp which reflected afro hairstyles https://opensea.io/collection/afrochicks i still love my collection and my afro hair but i tend to wear my hair in braids to save time but im rocking my natural hair for a bit before i start full training again 😎

No glaze but I’ve seen a lot of pfp collections in my time and these have a ton of character!! The colors, silhouettes, and overall style work really nicely. Did you draw these?

aw thanks so much!! 🥹 i drew each one on procreate on my ipad and animated them by drawing and moving each layer!!! at the time i didn’t realise the 10k projects were generative so i was aiming to draw 1000 i got to about 200 and it took a few months😭

!!! Not only talented of you but very determined to do it manually! I feel like with the right dev relaunching this on Base or other L2 would do really well. And you could allocate/airdrop some to existing holders of the polygon collection. If you ever wanted to collab with a very Afrocentric artist, who’s medium is pixel art, highly recommend reaching out to maxwellstepart.instagram! He’s made a generative collection (The Glitches) as well as several beautiful 1/1s.
