Have you tried Gaia Project? Terra Mystica mechanics, in space. 🙂  Kind love the tech tree. I enjoy playing Gaia quite a bit, but like Terra Mystica, I can't seem to convince my board game group to get it out on the table often...

Totally! The spectrum between skill and luck is wide, and I think it helps to be open minded for everything in between as it broadens the type of people you can play with.
