Couldn’t stop thinking about my website and how the vision is coming together in my head but how it’ll only ever live in my head until I start writing and I got way too excited to the point of not sleeping┌( ಠ_ಠ)┘

that's how it goes. and once u take the first step and things start rolling, u get even less sleep (⌒_⌒;) it took me almost a whole year after i said i wanted to make a personal site for me to get started and now i can't stop!

It’s reassuring knowing that it took so long for you to open the floodgates that lead to the site you have now! I imagine building it public also creates a nice feedback loop of releasing experimental ideas and seeing excitement and encouragement to keep iterating.

i think the thing that helped me the most to get started was accepting there was no end point and that it is an ongoing process, like a place to inhabit more over time. u always have to start with an empty room a lot of times in the past when i wanted to make a personal site, i would slip into project web dev mode where there needs to be a final product. that way of thinking just made the total vision of what i wanted way too overwhelming
