Tempting! I'm still with my boomer TKL, the closest to a split ergo I've considered is the Corne. How would you compare the two?

oh man, the swag on the TOTEM is *filthy* clean? compact? classy? cuh-check. are there sick Corne builds? absolutely! its probably the most popular layout in the entire split keeb universe! but the TOTEM is hot by *default* it's 4 fewer keys than a 6-column Corne, but 2 more keys than the 5-column variety, and those 2 keys are pinky shifts (hallelujah!) both are staggered columns, but TOTEM boasts a more aggressive stagger and a "splay" where the outside columns fan out instead of staying parallel i love my Corne-ish Zen to death (i literally just built two more keyboards and i still came right back to it, mostly because it's so low-profile) but I've always wanted a more aggressive stagger. i've got gigantic hands and the quest for maximum ergo is basically a predator drive at this point. and i've always wanted to go down to a 5-column board, but would maybe rather eat dorm room refrigerator mold than retrain decades of apostrophe muscle memory, lol
