Something I’m thinking about after posting on Farcaster for the first time in a while:

The only way for me to force notify my followers of a cast is to not post for a while

What if posters could pay a minimum fee (set uniquely by each follower) to auto notify their followers of a cast🤔

I think giving people 1 "announcement" a week could work. We almost launched that feature a year ago. Might actually ship it.

How have the metrics been for channel engagement since announcements were introduced there?

Personally the channel notification tab is unusable for me now. I write way more than I read casts so I have to stay in channels that I want to post to but find the announcements super noisy.
