Hate to say it, I think people like the idea of multiple clients on Farcaster vs the reality of everyone using a master client. There are still some great legos for building auxiliary tools like Frames, Cast Actions, or building the graph into your app to help jump start it. But in the end, I think Warpcast will remain the default client, just like Bluesky has a default client. Protocols like Mastadon that the dream of a multi client network doesn't seem to really build the network.

I think maxxing Warpcast is good for building alternate, highly specialized clients that don't need to chase the full feature set it offers, which is hard considering how stacked the Merkle team is.

100%, I think too many people get caught up in this need to immediately decentralize everything from the start before having a good product that's worth decentralizing. In order for there to be successful alt clients, Warpcast and Merkle have to succeed first
