it's really sad to see people's life savings getting washed out by liquidations. i feel sorry for them not because of the monetary losses but the fact that they very clearly have a gambling problem that is potentially ruining their lives

is the liquidations mostly people using leverage? 

(I'm laughably conservative even when it comes to basic trading. Leverage is not for me.)

Regular trading you're limited to losing whatever you put in.

Leveraged trading your liable to lose way more, based on how much you leverage.

It's a dangerous game, personally would never play it.
