Redis Streams seem pretty powerful. 

@sds is cooking up some plans to rewrite our background processor, using streams instead of Faktory (which we are outgrowing). 

anyone have positive/negative experience working with streams?

Building @warpcast and @farcaster. Previously Coinbase, Brigade, Causes.

Don’t you guys already use Redis Streams in Shuttle? Seems to work well

We do! But in that case the order of processing events matters, whereas if you’re treating it like a job queue ordering of job execution is good enough as long as it’s roughly FIFO.
