A great question lol 😂 As far as I know it’s not easy to do. It would require building your own contract in Rust using Anchor, but even if you do that it probably won’t be accepted by marketplaces or wallets because it’s breaking the Token Metadata standards by Metaplex. I really meant chokehold 😅

I’m begging someone to prove me wrong honestly 🫠 There are plenty of custom Solana programs used to build defi and other stuff like that, but the NFT and Token space are heavily specified

There are token extensions. Does that get you the right stuff? Couldn't tell from a quick check. Not sure about NFTs, assuming the same https://solana.com/developers/guides/token-extensions/getting-started

Oh nice!! I haven’t seen these, and it looks like most of them will get you pretty close? Still seems like a pretty limited scope and not the exact freedom you get with EVM
