We speed ran the part of the cycle that I've been most curious about for memecoins. When anyone can launch a coin, it becomes a curation question. 

Which coin is the true meme? How are cross-chain memes handled? Fork, derivative and copy become less clear. The market decides, but what does it make of the long tail?

imo the meme is the cultural meta that’s being transmitted. Frogs, dogs, etc. i think $trump is solidifying the meme coin meta associated with individuals. 

I expected we’ll start seeing more services pop up around “official” coins (similar to verified accounts). 

As far as the long tail goes, mostly to zero and probably some baskets of theme-based meme coins
