Vitalik’s Twitter account was hacked. The users that interacted with the malicious link lost $691,000.

A lot of crypto security advice gets posted but one I rarely see is to use a security extension like Stelo or Pocket Universe. Get warned if you’re about to be drained.

I was curious, so went to the link with @LocksmithWallet and it failed to drain anything.

Locksmith operates with an empty EOA and a soulbound NFT for permissions. Can't drain what can't move or what isn't there.

Yeah it had some eth and USDC in it. Since it's a smart contract wallet, the EOA I signed with had nothing but a soulbound Locksmith key. So it couldn't steal that. Funds are safe "elsewhere"
