I’m curious if oversimplification can lead to distrust. I’m not backing this up with anything aside from a gut feeling, but if we abstract away all touch points, will people start to question security? Is that a short term concern or is it best to keep some amount of friction, like entering a password?

Is this in reference to blockchain specifically? If so, I think progressive disclosure is key. For most “consumer” crypto apps I think block explorers links should have the same degree of emphasis and discoverability as legal terms.
