My day so far — 

1. Woke up too the bottom floor of my house flooded from a storm overnight.

2. Everyone in my org unit (90 or so people) got made redundant except me and my boss. (I really wish it was me)

3. We went for coffee and the wind blew all of my husbands out of his mug straight onto me 💁🏼‍♀️

Sharing my interests will make more people want to follow me.

#2 hits too close to home

This is the third time I’ve missed out redundancy at this place 😭 Every time I pray someone will put me out of my misery. The corporate golden handcuffs are tight.

I had an out that would have come to effect in May. "Voluntary Exit Program" which offered 16 weeks severance for anyone who was no longer enthusiastic. I let it pass 🫩
