on a train on our way to higher ground, emergency Evacuation notice just came through for flooding due to the typhoon 

most folks around us seem to be going about their business as usual so hopefully it's just a precaution and our home will be ok, but better safe than sorry and we only live a few meters above sea level and right between two rivers that are flooding in a known flood zone lol

checked into a hotel on high ground, hopefully our house is dry inside when we return 😂
