Small worry, but if Trump becomes associated with crypto in the minds of progressives, we may never be able to break that negative association in their minds. At least for a generation. I'm still personally pro-crypto, but planning on scrubbing all frontend references to it from my projects for this reason. And instead using terms like "Digital Collectables" instead of NFTs, or "Digital Dollars" instead of stablecoins.

I'd like to think the Democratic party is going to have a reckoning after this and rebuild itself from the ground up, and that the new version of the party will be a lot more accepting of the inevitability of crypto. If that happens, crypto will no longer be a partisan issue.

I think it's already too late tbh. We're going to need more than consumer apps to change this perception

I'm still working on how to properly explain what is crypto to my leftist friends here in Italy, the only way you can confuse it with Trump is if you don't know the Bitcoin foundation white paper, the story of the Blockchain goes in a different direction
