I’m reading about how Plato’s Academy remained open for almost a thousand years (!) after he died and I do wonder how a modern academy would look like. Like, would it necessarily have to be online? What would be the topics being taught? How would it be moderated? Wdyt?

It will have an online component and be led by the individual, so whatever the student wants to learn.

It’s a huge difference imo - it’s a change in the theory of learning so learning becomes more efficient - it allows for infinite ambition versus finite ambition - infinite ambition is positive sum and not draining - the system will adapt to the individual versus the individual to the system

Yes, the optimal is one foot in the unknown and one foot in the known. Striking the balance is how courses will look like in the future.
