Farcaster Devs

On farcaster, we will have:

- Custody Address
- Auth Address
- Verified Address
- Warpcast Wallet Address

I really hope we can consolidate these into a single address.

Privacy is required for mass adoption, and cannot be accomplished if users are identified by public immutable identifiers such as Ethereum addresses.

App developers should take note, and not build under the assumption that users can be identified by Ethereum addresses.

Maybe we have to reconsider paradigms in order to get to acceptable levels of practical privacy.

VP Tech Gnosis, founder HOPR. I believe in empowerment of the individual through decentralization and privacy.

The biggest issue I see here is how requesting ANY address-linkable data from any centralized service (e.g. to render your relevant token icons in the drop down of a DEX) is something that the web apps are unable to give up on and that is hard to build without disclosing personal data while also still using the EVM.
