Just thinking about that time when I actually got stuck in quicksand once

A few years back, I made a smart decision. While on vacation, I decided to cross a dried-up riverbed for some cool photos (it flows into the ocean, so low tide leaves parts of it dry for a small portion of the day). I figured it’d be a fun, easy stroll—because who really gets stuck in quicksand, right? That’s just movie stuff 🥲

Well, almost made it across when I stepped on the wrong spot and sank in. Luckily, it wasn’t like in the cartoons where you get swallowed into oblivion, but quite the experience!
