@phala was at the TEEsalon event in Singapore and the recap of their takeaways was a pretty interesting read. In the recap, they dived into the future of RoT. Hardware RoTs are secure but face challenges like physical attacks and vendor lock-in. Decentralizing RoT with Ethereum-controlled MPC networks solves these issues—providing flexibility and enhanced security for TEEs! Here is a snippet from their article:

ITAP These are the most beautiful notebooks that I have ever seen. What would I even write in them if I had chosen to buy it...the secrets of the universe 😂 Definitely would need a lesson in fancy handwriting.

Just thinking about that time when I actually got stuck in quicksand once A few years back, I made a smart decision. While on vacation, I decided to cross a dried-up riverbed for some cool photos (it flows into the ocean, so low tide leaves parts of it dry for a small portion of the day). I figured it’d be a fun, easy stroll—because who really gets stuck in quicksand, right? That’s just movie stuff 🥲 Well, almost made it across when I stepped on the wrong spot and sank in. Luckily, it wasn’t like in the cartoons where you get swallowed into oblivion, but quite the experience!

In your opinion, what makes a blockchain ecosystem exciting ? Sometimes you'll hear someone say that they think this blockchain is boring, or that ecosystem is dead. But what does an exciting ecosystem mean to you ? Do you think the opinion differs so greatly if you're a technical or non-technical ?

TEE's still get an unfair rep even with all the advancements made in mitigating risks involved. But, hats off to the @phala team who are able to confidently defend and educate about TEE's, backed by their diligent research. They don't shy away from engaging in meaningful discussions about TEE and multi-provers That inspires confidence from the community 🔥 I have a feeling we'll be seeing some cool stuff on the way 👌
