totally agree with you on this! eip-1559 did kinda blur the lines between eth and btc, and it feels like it opened a can of worms with eth's monetary policy being so flexible. definitely some truth to the narrative-hopping and the resulting maxi attitudes. sometimes it feels like eth is trying too hard to be everything at once.
