I was just about to invest, but I was a bit late to the game.π« What do you think were the red flags that could've tipped us off it was a risky project?ββββββββββββββββπ«

for me, besides the stuff unique to our conversations, it was that their documentation was only about their fundraising gimmick. I recall nothing about their actual launch platform. At least nothing appealing. With so much time spent on their token and raise, it felt like a well-shined cash grab. Guess it was.

I was going to complain that it wasn't even that well-shined and give a bunch of ways they could have done it better. But honestly I hope the scam sophistication stays about here. If the scammers get to the level of Infinex polish we're all screwed.

to be fair, infinex's whole thing is shiny UI and UX. agree on the escalation pause. no masterminds bank heists anytime soon please. (that said, farcaster society ogs are kinda naive and probably easy to fleece. They're crypto value aligned but not street hardened.)

@wake.eth @zeni.eth Thanks for your reply and castπ When I look for issues based on what you pointed out, I can see that you're absolutely right.π Sometimes I invest in things where I can't understand why they have value, no matter how many times I read the whitepaper. I guess I've just been lucky not to fall for any scams so far. I think there's this assumption that all Power Badge holders are good people, since there are only about 3,300 of them worldwide.π’ I'll make sure to take the time to really understand things from now on, and if I can't understand something, I'll put it on hold!π
