Reminds me of the Zappos example. When they first started they had no inventory of shoes. They would post images and then as people purchased, they would then go out and buy those shoes and ship to the customer.

Building and selling are the two activities that create value. Itβs not chicken & egg, itβs alternating, pick first what works for you. But follow build cycle with sell, and vice versa. Feedback loops critical. All other activities are operations that help building or selling become smoother. h/t: @sinisterlight
